Research 2.0
Tuesday, November 27, 2012 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
With so much information available online, researchers can conveniently get articles, blogs and all kinds of other communications delivered to them instantly. Many scholars keep up with their fields this way. But how do we get students in on the action?
Librarians will demonstrate database alerts, RSS feeds, and other social media resources for getting into the scholarly conversation, as well as tools to help students organize and share their learning. “Research 2.0: Tools to Help Students Engage with Current Research” is at 12 p.m. on Nov. 27 in Doherty Library. It is open to faculty only and lunch will be served.
