Catholic Underground

On Friday, February 15, FOCUS, Campus Ministry and Residence Life will come together to present Catholic Underground, a mini-retreat aimed at students across campus.
Beginning at 5 p.m., the evening will kick-off as the group cooks a community dinner together in the Guinan kitchen. Afterward, the evening will continue with a time of praise and worship in the Guinan Conference Room, followed by games and fellowship until 11 p.m. in the Guinan Media Room.
This mini-retreat is a combination of events that were held last semester and is designed to give students an opportunity to hang out and pray together.
The event is open to people of all faiths and it is the hope that the time of praise and worship will be a unifying experience for all. During the time of praise and worship, music provides a prayerful atmosphere that allows participants to either sing out praises or simply sit and reflect. Prayer teams are also available to pray with and over students who desire this additional prayer. Although the event is being held in the residence halls, commuters are welcome and will be able to sign themselves into the event by simply presenting their UST ID.
