Rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition of liberal learning, the School of Arts and Sciences educates students in light of the commitment of the Basilian Fathers to develop the whole person: professionally, ethically and spiritually.
Offering 25 majors, 11 minors and 9 pre-professional programs, the School provides broad opportunities for professional development. The rich diversity of majors includes the natural sciences and mathematics, social sciences, humanities, communication and fine arts.

| Meet The Dean |
Father Joseph Pilsner, CSB, dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, formerly served as an associate professor of theology and the chair of the UST theology department. He taught courses in theology, and is the former director of UST’s Honors Program.
