Corporate and Corporate Foundation Initiatives at UST
Ethical Leadership in Action Award
You are invited to nominate a senior-level business person for receipt of the 2010 Ethical Leadership in Action Award. Every two years, the University of St. Thomas presents this award in cooperation with the Greater Houston Partnership. The individual nominated should be a successful Houston-connected business leader at the Chief Executive Officer, Founder, President, or Senior Executive level and should have exhibited moments of extraordinary courage, acted in ways that are good and right, displayed uncommon ethical leadership and social responsibility, and shown great foresight on behalf of his/her company and community. Awarded every two years, previous recipients include: Charles Miller (2000), Jack Blanton (2002), George Martinez (2004), Jim Ketelsen (2006), Drayton McLane (2008).

UST Annual Scholarship Tee-Up Golf Tourney

11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
The 2009 UST Scholarship Tee-Up will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28 at the Kingwood Country Club to benefit the Fr. Francis E. Monaghan Scholarship Fund. The Tee-Up will have a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. An awards ceremony and dinner will take place following the tournament. Joe Cleary will chair the event.
Individual entries are $250; four-person entry is $1,000; general sponsorship is $1,500. The Scholarship Tee-Up Golf Tournament benefits the Fr. Francis E. Monaghan Scholarship Fund.
