Exceptions to Online Registration
Students Not Participating in Online Registration
Although online registration is not available to students listed below, you should still plan on setting up your Webmail and myStThom accounts. Your myStThom account is where you will view your grades, class schedule and make payments online.
- Alternative Certification Program and Education Workshop Students - Enrollment will continue to be processed by the Workshop Coordinator in the School of Education.
- Audit Students - Enrollment will continue to be processed by submitting an audit application form to the Registrar’s Office. Refer to Audit Students for complete details.
- Study Abroad Students - Enrollment in a study abroad program requires submission of proper paperwork to the Study Abroad office.
- Visiting Students - Enrollment will be processed in-person at the Registrar’s Office after the signature of the Director of Academic Advising has been obtained on a regular registration form.

Enrollment Transactions That Require In-Person Registration
The following enrollment transactions require in-person submission of special paperwork (available in the Registrar’s Office or advisor’s office) with the appropriate signatures to the Registrar’s Office.
- Change of Grading Basis to Audit or to Pass/Fail
- Enrollment in Additional Courses Beyond the Academic Load Limit
- Enrollment in a Directed Reading/Independent Study Course
- Enrollment in a Course That Requires Instructor or Department Consent
- Exemption From a Prerequisite Requirement
- Special Permission to Enroll in a Closed Course
