Dr. Joe Ueng
Department Chair, Economic & Finance
Dr. Joe Ueng is a professor of finance in the Cameron School of Business at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. His research interests include corporate governance, international investment, and mergers and acquisitions. Dr. Ueng has published numerous articles in the areas of financial management, corporate governance, and international finance, including International Review of Financial Analysis, Managerial Finance, Journal of Applied Business Research, Multinational Business Review, The Journal of Accounting and Finance Research, Review of Business, The Journal of Business Economics Research, Midwest Review of Finance and Insurance, and International Journal of Business Research and 2 articles in books on the topics of Trade and Investment in Asia and Corporate Governance, Business Ethics, and Civil Society. Dr. Ueng worked several years in the private sector and served as a consultant to private corporations before he joined the University of St. Thomas. He is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and a licensed international financial analyst (LIFA). |
