Another play written by Sam Havens, University of St. Thomas 44-year professor emeritus in the Fine Arts and Drama Department, was selected for Dayton Playhouse's FutureFest during July 26–28 in Dayton, Ohio. “The One With Olives” will be produced as a staged reading and is one of six plays selected for the festival.

Former University of St. Thomas Alumni Association Vice President and longtime University volunteer Drew Wilson is challenging those who have never donated to UST to give $20.13 or more to the University. Wilson, a dedicated alumnus known for his strong support for UST, believes the donations could bring an unprecedented amount of funds to the school.
