Degree Plan
The Master of Arts Degree in Faith and Culture (MAFC) is comprised of 36 graduate credit hours as follows:
- 18-hour Core Course component
- 6-hour Core Elective component
- 3-hour Service Learning and Leadership practicum
- 9-hour Area of Concentration (Electives) component
Depending on student interests and career objectives, the courses chosen for the area of concentration may be taken from electives within the MAFC program (listed below) or may be developed from courses in other disciplines within the University. Courses chosen from other disciplines must be approved by the Director of the MAFC program. MAFC electives are designed to complement subjects already treated in a broader way in the Core Courses of the masters program.
