Irish Club
The Center for Irish Studies encourages students to join the Irish Club to celebrate Irish culture, on and off campus.
We have several professors and students here from Ireland who will join in the activities, including Maeve McInerney of Cork, who will teach informal Irish language courses in fall 2006 and formal, accredited Irish language courses (Irish I and Irish II) in spring 2007.
The Center for Irish Studies, located at 4110 Mt. Vernon, serves as a gathering place for the Irish Club, students in the Irish Studies courses and students who are interested in Irish-related topics.
Over 40 students have expressed an interest in an Irish Club. The Director of the Center for Irish Studies, Lori Meghan Gallagher J.D., serves as the Club Advisor.
