Irish Club
Irish Club/Club na hÉireann
The Center for Irish Studies encourages students to join the Irish Club/Club na hÉireann to celebrate Irish culture, on and off campus.
We have several professors and students here from Ireland and Northern Ireland who will join in the activities, including Professor Aoife Ní Ghloinn, who teaches all of our Irish language courses (Elementary Irish Language and Culture I and II as well as Intermediate Irish Language and Culture I and II). She also teaches Celtic Notes: Introduction to Traditional Irish Music.
The Center for Irish Studies, located at 4110 Mt. Vernon, serves as a gathering place for the Irish Club, students in the Irish Studies courses and students who are interested in Irish-related topics.
Over 60 students have expressed an interest in or become members of the Irish Club/Club na hÉireann.
The Director of the Center for Irish Studies, Lori Meghan Gallagher JD, serves as the Club Advisor.
If you are a UST audit or credit student and you would like to join the Club, please contact Lori Gallagher at 713-525-3592 or irishstudies@stthom.edu. |
