Graduate Program: Master in Liberal Arts in Irish Studies
The Irish Studies Program offers an Irish Studies graduate concentration through the Master in Liberal Arts Program.
The Irish Studies graduate concentration in the MLA Program requires six courses for a total of 18 credit hours. Three courses are required:
Three other electives may be chosen from the program courses listed below.
In addition to the Irish Studies concentration portion, the Master in Liberal Arts Degree requires an additional six courses of 18 graduate credit hours for a total of 36 credit hours. Consult the Director of the MLA Program at srinivas@stthom.edu.
Many of these courses also are included in courses available through other programs, such as International Studies, History, Political Science, English, Theology, Women, Culture and Society and Fine Arts, for both undergraduate and graduate credit.
Cross-listings, including MLA graduate courses, are determined on a semester-by-semester basis. Therefore, courses may be available in the above-referenced departments or other departments and programs even though no number for those departments or programs is listed below or those courses do not appear under Courses Offered in the Catalog.
Courses listed only for undergraduate credit may be audited by graduate students, space permitting and with professor approval.

How to Register:
Register for Irish Studies graduate courses through the Registrar’s Office as one does for other University undergraduate courses. One must be admitted to the University to take courses for credit. |
