Cork Multi-Text Project in History -- 1916 Rising
Historical documents relating to the Easter Rising, including: (1) the 1916 Proclamation, James Connolly’s last statement, Roger Casement’s speech from the dock, Connolly’s statement on World War I and Casement’s statement on German aid, (2) a description of the combat and looting during the rising, and (3) the official response to the rising.  Also contains editorials and public commentary.

Glasnevin Cemetery 
The web site of Glasnevin Cemetery , the largest cemetery in Ireland located two miles north of Dublin City .  The cemetery first opened its gates in 1832 after a series of events prompted Daniel O’Connell to establish a burial place for the Catholic nation of Ireland .  Prior to then, the Irish Catholics had no cemetery of their own.

National Archives of Ireland -- Great Famine Resources
A site maintained by the National Archives of Ireland, providing links to a number of sources of other information regarding the Irish Famine.

Irish Society for Archives
Irish Archives is the only journal produced in Ireland dedicated to archives and archives related issues. It is issued annually. The journal was originally published as Irish Archives Bulletin which was then shortened to Irish Archives.

The Great Irish Famine Curriculum
This web site contains an extensive curriculum on the Irish famine.  It is sponsored by the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education for inclusion in the Holocaust and Genocide Curriculum at the secondary level. It is dedicated to the millions of Irish who suffered and perished in the Great Starvation. It is also dedicated to those who escaped by emigration, and to the great Irish Diaspora worldwide.
