Photo: UST StarProspective graduate students considering University of St. Thomas will now be able to contact a central graduate admissions office. University of St. Thomas is establishing a new Office of Graduate Admissions as part of its strategic planning process.

John MaciasJohn Macias, doctoral student at the University of St. Thomas Center for Thomistic Studies, has been accepted to the 8th Annual Thomistic Seminar for graduate students in philosophy and related disciplines from Aug. 4-10 in Princeton, N.J. The topic is “Themes in the Philosophy of Alasdair MacIntyre and Thomas Aquinas.”

Apr 25, 2013  Hattrup Dissertation Passes
Dr. Joseph HattrupJoseph Hattrup’s dissertation, "Form and Predicability in Aristotle's Categories and the Middle Books of the Metaphysics," was unanimously passed on April 19. He argued that two famous Aristotelian doctrines on substance are not contradictory in principle. Hattrup will now be referred to as Dr. Joseph Hattrup.

He will defend his dissertation, "Form and Predicability in Aristotle's Categories and the Middle Books of the Metaphysics," at 3:30 p.m. on April 19 in the Brezik Room in Sullivan Hall.
