UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH
AWARDS
Awards
In 2005-2006, as part of the annual UST Symposium, the Undergraduate Research Committee began a program which gives students the opportunity to have their presentations judged by outside experts for cash prizes. This tradition of offering judged cash prizes continued with the 2006-2007 program. The judges for the program include professors from surrounding Universities, prominent business people, museum employees, artists, and donors. Each judge is assigned several presentations in their area of expertise. The general categories were: Math/Science; Business/Education; Liberal Arts/Humanities. The prize amounts were: $150.00 for first place, $100.00 for second and $50.00 for third.
