CSB Accounting Society 3rd Annual No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament

Support the CSB Accounting Society by participating in this fun-filled event. Even if you don’t play poker it would be great for our alumni and friends to mix and mingle with current CSB students. Entry into the tournament is $25 and all of the money goes to scholarships.
The Accounting Society is hoping to raise $10,000, so let’s help them achieve that goal. You can register here if you would like to play in the tournament. Your entrance fee will be collected at the door the day of the event. If you are interested in supporting the event as a sponsor please contact Monica E. Clem at 713-525-3115 or clemm@stthom.edu. Sponsorship levels range from $250-$2,000.

USTinsights Alumni Mentoring Students Program

Make a difference in the life of current UST students! The USTinsights Alumni Mentoring Students Program is designed to provide career insight for UST students by UST alumni. The one-semester program begins during the spring semester and runs from January to May. The program’s mission is to create a forum for students to gain knowledge about careers by pairing them with UST alumni who will provide professional experience and insight. 2nd Annual Cameron School of Business Alumni Week
March 23-28, 2009
Join the Cameron School of Business in celebrating the 2nd Annual Alumni Week Monday through Saturday March 23-28, 2009 on the University of St. Thomas Campus.
The purpose of the event is to involve UST alumni with their alma mater and to enhance current student's experience while at the Cameron School of Business. CSB Alumni have a chance to give back to UST by sharing the lessons of their professional experience with current business students.
Last Year’s Alumni Week was held in March 2008. Alumni week was designed to highlight the accomplishments and contributions of CSB alumni by inviting them back to campus to share their knowledge and experience with our current students. More than 60 alumni participated in 2008 alumni week by speaking to several undergraduate and graduate classes.
One of the highlights of Alumni Week was a keynote speech by prominent alumnus, Dr. John Kelly. Public Policy Issues Coordinator for Exxon Mobil and a 1968 Economics graduate of UST, Kelly delivered the keynote speech titled, "An International Oil Company's Perspective on Corporate Citizenship and Government Accountability."
