Endowed Chairs
In the 2007-2008 academic year, the Cameron School of Business received a $2.6 million gift to establish the Burnett Family Distinguished Chair in Leadership. The position will be staffed in the 2008-2009 academic year.
Also in the 2007-2008 academic year, the Harry and Isabel C. Cameron Foundation approved a pledge of $1.5 million to create the Cameron Endowed Chair in Management and Marketing. Through a national search, the School hired Dr. Shahram Taj who joined the University in August 2008.
A $2.5 million endowment from the Cullen Foundation enabled the Cameron School to establish the Cullen Endowed Chair of Finance. Through a national search Dr. Joe Ueng was appointed to the position in August of 2008.
With these recent contributions, the Cameron School of Business now houses five endowed Chairs including the Dr. Javed Asraf, Cullen Endowed Chair of Economics and Dr. Daryl Koehn, Cullen Chair in Business Ethics.
