At UST, students should be aware of their surroundings at all times. Attending college in a big city like Houston is a great opportunity, but you also have to be safe and BE AWARE of your environment, personal safety, health and emergency protocol. Although UST is a close-knit campus community, you must BE AWARE of emergency situations like:

The University received a $245,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to create a comprehensive plan to develop, review, improve and fully integrate campus-based all-hazards emergency management and business continuity plans.
