The St. Martin de Porres Society brings you their 3rd Annual Black History Month Celebration: The Ballad of Emmett Till. The celebration will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2012 beginning at 6:15 p.m. The Society has partnered with the Houston Museum of African American Culture and the Ensemble Theater for one night to highlight a figure in African-American history who through a series of tragic events played a pivotal role in launching a movement that would change the course of the nation.
