Legacy: The Buffalo Soldiers Story

James Reed Faulkner performs the story of an African-American slave from Louisiana who travels to Texas in 1877 to join the Buffalo Soldiers, 10th Cavalry.
Faulkner has written, performed and toured the country for over 30 years. He has been acting with the Buffalo Soldiers Museum for five years throughout the Houston community.
Mission:
The St. Martin de Porres Society is devoted to supporting the recruitment, retention, development and graduation of UST's current and prospective African-American students in the surrounding Houston community while helping to instill a sense of pride in their alma mater.
