University Singers Concert

Join the University of St. Thomas Music Department for an evening of beautiful choral music spanning the centuries, featuring plainchant; motets by Lallouette and Viadana, Samuel Scheidt's cantata Kommt her, ihr meines Gesegneten vaters, SSWV 20, W.A. Mozart's buoyant Missa brevis in F, K. 192; and anthems and spirituals by Richard Allain, Robert DeWell, David Clark Isele, Jane Marshall, Donald Pearson, Roger Quilter, Carl Georg Reutter, Reginald Unterseher, and Dale Wood, as well as the world-premiere of If ye love me, a commissioned anthem by David Ashley White.
The University Singers are directed by Dr. Brady Knapp with Courtney Daniell-Knapp, guest conductor.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Moran Center, 3807 Graustark W. Alabama, for $2.
