Ash Wednesday Masses
Wednesday, February 13, 2013 All Day
The Holy Season of Lent begins on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
Masses: 7:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Ashes will be distributed at all three Masses.
Ash Wednesday is a day of Fast and Abstinence.
Fasting: For Catholics 18 – 59 years old: one meal and two smaller meals, which if added together would not exceed the main meal in quantity.
Abstinence: For Catholics 14 years until death: Ash Wednesday and all Fridays in Lent are days of abstinence from meat. Fish is allowed.
