Blessing of the Animals

Blessing the Animals is a much loved tradition that coincides with the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. St. Francis is said to have loved animals and wrote in his Canticle of the Creatures “All praise to you, Oh Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures.”
Come and bring your furry, feathered or scaly friend to UST for some fun and a blessing by Father Mike! If you cannot bring your pet, feel free to bring a photo to be blessed.
St. Francis' Angels Animal Rescue will be on campus with adoptable pets. Maybe you'll find a new friend!
Please keep all pets on a leash or in an appropriate carrier at all times. Do not bring animals into classrooms or offices unless with permission from all persons who might be affected.
