CFC Faithful Citizenship Dinner & Lecture

The Center for Faith and Culture Faithful Citizenship Dinner and Lecture will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2 at the River Oaks Country Club. Dr. John Borelli will lecture about “Vatican II: Yesterday and Today.” He will reflect on the changes from the beginning of the Second Vatican Council to today, fifty years later, with particular attention to lay life in the church.
Dr. John Borelli is the Special Assistant for Interreligious Initiatives to President John J. DeGioia of Georgetown University. He works on several university projects related to Catholic identity and the university’s Jesuit heritage and teaches courses on dialogue and comparative theology. In addition, Borelli serves as national coordinator for interreligious dialogue for the U.S. Jesuit Conference.
