Nebby is a bearded dragon lizard who resides at the Environmental Science and Studies Department in Robertson 104. Popular with students and faculty alike, he arrived in March of 2009 and will soon be 3 years old! Nebby is a very adept hunter of live crickets and is also fond of collard greens and strawberries. He lives in a one-of-a-kind cage designed and constructed by Father Patrick Braden, CSB.

Native to Australia, of the genus Pogona, but can be bred in captivity
Life span of 10 years
Ectothermic, need UVA and UVB light
Beard is intended to make the lizard look larger to potential foes
Can become friendly to humans, comfortable with sitting on the shoulder or in the lap
