Each fall, the William J. Flynn Center for Irish Studies holds a gala, with a delicious dinner, lively entertainment and silent and live auctions. This event raises funds for the Center’s academic programs, and particularly study abroad scholarships to take UST’s students to Ireland and Northern Ireland and to bring Irish and Northern Irish students to UST to study. During the Gala, the Center honors local, international and clerical leaders who have made significant contributions to the University, the community, or the Center and its mission of preserving Irish heritage and culture and promoting peace and reconciliation around the world.
