Building Safety
Safety in buildings on campus is maintained by the University Police Department. In the evening, the University Police Department will lock the buildings and adhere to building safety procedures. BE AWARE of your surroundings in buildings on campus.





  • If there is a maintenance concern, contact Facilities Operations at 713-525-3135, or after hours, call the University Police Department at 713-525-3888.

Emergency Exits




  • When you enter a room, take a minute to familiarize yourself with the emergency exits, and try to have at least two possible exits in mind at any time.
