Join us for the annual Miller Lecture hosted by the UST Theology department.
Mark Ryland leads a global team of Security Architects who help customers to understand more deeply how Amazon Web Services operates its highly secure cloud platform, and how they can best leverage AWS to enhance their own information technology security. He is a strong advocate for liberal arts education, and has a keen interest in philosophy and science.
Mr. Ryland obtained his B.A. in Philosophy (Magna Cum Laude) in 1983 from University of San Diego, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from U.C. Berkeley School of Law in 1986.
He will speak to us on “Is a Liberal Arts Education Still Important in an Increasingly Technological Society?” We hope that you can join us!
