Learning in Plague-Time: An All-University Conversation
Thursday, October 15, 2020 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM

In his essay, C.S. Lewis raises the question: If the world is at war and the future of civilization is on the verge of destruction, how could anyone justify studying at a university? We will ask a similar question: In the midst of a pandemic and social unrest, how can we justify devoting our time and resources to higher learning? Lewis answer may surprise us and it certainly has the power to shape our lives both at UST and beyond.
