Extended Programs In support of the University of St. Thomas’s academic and service mission, the Office of Extended Programs provides and manages a range of academic and non-academic programs and services. | Academic Programs and Services The Office of Extended Programs administers the Master in Liberal Arts Program (MLA), an academic interdisciplinary graduate degree program in the humanities and social sciences. Additionally, the Office of Extended Programs creates and maintains articulation agreements with area community and junior colleges to promote undergraduate recruitment efforts. | Non-Academic Programs The Office of Extended Programs partners with university departments as well as outside organizations to offer unique non-academic programs, summer camps, and community outreach activities. - UST offers music education to students and the community through its Music Preparatory School. MPS has programs during the regular school year and summer camps.
- In collaboration with the Institute of Reading Development (IRD), the Office of Extended Programs offers on-campus and off-campus reading programs for children, youth and adults as a community outreach activity.
