At UST, we are committed to making college affordable and meeting the financial aid needs of all our students. You and your family will receive the same personalized attention from the Scholarships and Financial Aid counselors that you expect from our dedicated professors in a small class setting. UST will help guide you through the financial aid process and prepare an offer of financial assistance that may include scholarships, grants, loans and a flexible payment plan.
Follow these easy steps to apply for financial aid:
October 1 is the first day to complete and submit the FAFSA for the 2017-2018 academic year. Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at www.fafsa.gov.
In order for us to receive your FAFSA information, you must include UST’s school code of 003654.
UST's Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid can only process your FAFSA information once you have been formally admitted to UST.
Request additional eligibility documentation from you. Required financial aid documents will be requested on your myStThom account.
Important Dates
Remember that October 1 is the first day to complete and submit the FAFSA for the 2017-2018 academic year. Applying early can ensure availability of grant monies for which you have qualified.
April 15 is the priority deadline for completing your financial aid application file (all requested documentation must be submitted to our office by this date to qualify for priority consideration). Please note: You may still submit the FAFSA after the priority deadline. However, submitting your information by this priority deadline will put you in a primary position for state or federal aid, which may be limited.
