The University of St. Thomas is committed to inclusion and meaningful access to university programs and activities for students with disabilities. The Office of Access & Disability Services engages with campus partners to identify and remove barriers to foster an all-inclusive campus and promote self-advocacy for the development of graduates who think critically, communicate effectively, succeed professionally, and lead ethically.
The University abides by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other legal mandates. Although ADS does not offer disability evaluation and/or testing, personal expenses, or personal attendants, Disability Resources will provide community referrals for testing and treatment, if needed.
