Family Orientation
Parents and Families - Welcome to the Celt Family! We are so excited to introduce you to the University of St. Thomas. We know the vital role you have played and will continue to play in your student’s life, and we are grateful for the opportunity to connect with you during your student’s time here.
Families have the option to attend one of our Family Orientation with their incoming student throughout the summer. During Family Orientation, you will learn about the resources available to your student outside of the classroom to help them reach graduation. Family Orientation begins at 5:30 on Thursdays of Freshman Orientation.
Not only is our goal to help your student succeed, we also want you to be a key figure in this success. This journey continues at the Family Welcome! At this social event, you will be able to connect with other parents, as well as faculty and staff who are here to help your student succeed. Additionally, we will have current students and alumni there to give you a taste of what the Celt Experience is all about.
Through communication such as our Parent & Family Newsletter, we hope to welcome you into our Family and give you and your student tools to succeed. If you are interested in receiving the newsletter, please sign up below.

Graduate Student Orientation
Each graduate program hosts their own orientation session to tailor information to their programs. If you are an incoming graduate student and have questions, reach out to your program to ask questions directly.
Welcome to the Celt Family! This event is a three hour program including a keynote speaker, a Q&A Panel with representatives across campus, and a social hour intended for you to meet a variety of faculty, staff, alumni, and current students. The families of new students are invited to attend with a maximum of 2 attendees per student. While we love your students as you do, we ask for parents and relatives only at this event.
