COMMENCEMENT UPDATE:

Congratulations GraduatesCLASS OF 2020:

Commencement has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 13, 2020 at SMART Financial Centre.

We are still working on plans for the Baccalaureate Mass, and more details for both events will be released in the near future.

We appreciate your patience as we work on a new schedule. New Registration plans will be announced soon.

Please know your Celt family is here for you, and if you have any questions about Commencement, please continue to email us here.

In the meanwhile, answers to your most pressing questions are below:

Will my degree still be conferred on time?
Yes, while the Commencement Ceremony date changed, your degree conferral date remains May 16, 2020.

When and how will I receive my diploma?
Diplomas will be ready after your conferral date of May 16. You will be notified by email with confirmation of your degree conferral in May, and again when diplomas are ready to be picked up or delivered.

Why do we have to wait until December for the Commencement Ceremony? Why can it not be held in the summer?
There are several considerations that made the end of the calendar year a better choice than summer, but your health and safety was primary. Health experts could not give us a summer window that would be safe enough to make plans for the commencement. However, due to results from the Commencement Survey taken in March, other options may be added if gatherings during the summer months become possible. Please see Survey Results.

I am a 2019 Winter graduate who was planning to participate in the 2020 Commencement ceremony. Can I still participate in the rescheduled ceremony?
Yes! You will be included in all communications and registration will be open to you.
