UST Winter Walk of Hope and Joy

Congratulations GraduatesYou are cordially invited to The UST Winter Walk of Hope and Joy, created for UST graduates whose 2020 Commencement Ceremony was prevented due to COVID-19.

This special event is your chance to walk across the stage, hear your name called, and have the experience memorialized with a photograph. The Walk will be videotaped and integrated into the virtual commencement ceremony to be sent out via link to graduates and their families after December 13 so you can enjoy the experience together.

The campus and The Winter Walk stage will be illuminated by thousands of Christmas lights, as graduates drive up Yoakum Boulevard, exit their vehicles and safely make their walk to the stage. The stage will be covered and feature the beautiful decor of our traditional Commencement setting.

In addition to The Winter Walk, you may also elect to transfer your current RSVP for Commencement to the May 8, 2021 Spring Ceremony.

Reservations for The Winter Walk will be accepted for Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13, beginning at dusk. Depending upon number of RSVPs, Friday, December 11 will be held as an overflow day.

Once we receive your RSVP for The Winter Walk, we will assign your arrival timeframe and email you with further details.

Lastly, please save the date for Baccalaureate Mass presented by the Basilian Fathers, live streamed on December 11 at 7:00 pm.  Look for more information soon.

Like you, we are sad about the loss of a traditional Commencement in December, but we look forward to seeing you walk across the stage soon, and/or at the May 8 ceremony.

With hope and joy,

Your UST Family
