The Office of Student Affairs
The Office of Student Affairs, located on the second floor of Crooker Center, provides the following services:
- Issuance of ID cards
- Providing student assistance with non-academic concerns
- Crooker Center space reservations
The University of St Thomas Bookstore offers a wide range of UST personalized apparel & accessories, gifts and collectables, books, course material, and school supplies.
The Office of Campus Life plans special events, such as New Student Orientation, Deck the Mall and Family Weekend. The Assistant Vice President of Campus Life serves as the advisor to the Student Government Association.
Campus Ministry serves students of all faiths and facilitates campus spiritual life through the sacraments, spiritual guidance, retreats, events and counseling in the Christian tradition.
Career Services and Testing
Career Services supports current freshmen through seniors and alumni with career counseling, job and internship listings, resume writing, job fairs and workshops, to successfully find a job or career.
Counseling & Disability Services
Counseling Services provides confidential personal counseling, outreach programs and consultations on issues such as study skills, reducing anxiety, family problems, depression and self-esteem. Disability services are provided for students to support and assist them in accomplishing their academic goals.
Dean of Students Office
The Dean of Students addresses non-academic student issues and concerns.
The University of St. Thomas offers a variety of dining options for residents and nonresidents.
Health Promotion and Wellness
The Office of Health Promotion and Wellness promotes healthy lifestyles through outreach programs for alcohol awareness, men’s and women’s health, safety, fitness education, nutrition and more.
The Office for Student Success helps facilitate programs that promote freshmen-success, such as the Mendenhall Summer Institute, the Freshman Symposium and other success-centered programs.
The Office of Residence Life attends to residents’ spiritual, academic, emotional and cultural growth at St. Thomas. Dedicated staff members help students living on campus in Guinan Hall and Young Hall and coordinate conference housing.
The Recreational Sports Office provides programs that promote a balance between academic and nonacademic life, promoting health, wellness, and positive health behaviors. Recreational Sports oversees sport clubs, intramural sports, fitness classes and recreational trips.
University Police Department
University Police is ready to assist the UST community 24 hours a day with any issues of personal safety or the University parking policy.
The Office of Student Activities advises the Student Activities Board and Council of Clubs, as well as hosts many events and programs throughout the year.
Students may participate in recreational sports through intramurals, sport clubs, recreational trips, fitness classes or intercollegiate athletics.
Students participate in volunteer opportunities such as the President’s Day of Service and other opportunities on or off-campus.
