Dr. Birgit Mellis has 15 years of teaching experience in physics, chemistry and math, both in Germany and in the United States. She is a solid state physicist with research expertise in the fields of nanomaterials, photonic crystals and low temperature physics. She can speak on physics in general, nanomaterials, photonic crystals and superconductors.
