Ms. Katherine D. Simpson is a practicing nurse practitioner and critical care registered nurse. She has certifications in areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular nursing, and legal nurse consulting. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Houston Area Nurse Practitioners (HANP), and American Society of Peri anesthesia Nurses (ASPAN). Research interests include waste anesthesia gases, clinical simulation, and professional development. She serves as the treasurer for HANP.
