Dr. Matthew J. Moore is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and primarily works within the Applied Sport and Performance Psychology program. Before UST, Dr. Moore spent two years as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Miami University (OH) and a year prior to that working as a Mental Performance Consultant with the US Army at Fort Jackson, SC. Dr. Moore also trains athletes, coaches, and other performers develop sustainable psychological flexibility. Dr. Moore's research primarily focuses on the psychosocial and the psychospiritual aspects of sport, exercise, and performance. Dr. Moore finds true joy spending time with his two children and spouse. He also enjoys spending time working out and being outdoors hiking, fishing, and playing golf and pickleball.
