Title V Core logo 500x330The Title V CORE (Counseling, Outreach, Retention, and Engagement) Program is a federally funded program designated to meet the social, emotional, and academic needs of students.  By creating a positive, inclusive, and identify-safe climate for underserved students, the Title V CORE Program is a support system for freshmen and transfer students, and will provide success coaching and proactive counseling to aid in their endeavors.

Our holistic approach to student success will break down the barriers that students face, especially those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. This initiative is a complement to the already established resources at the University of St. Thomas, and by collaborating with different student services departments, Title V CORE program participants will be able to take full advantage of all the opportunities available to them.

Title V CORE Program goals are to increase:

  • Access
  • Affordability
  • Completion
  • Post-enrollment success
