Mendenhall Summer Institute Enhances Student Success

The Mendenhall Summer Institute is a five-week program allowing a select group of 50 incoming freshmen students to start their college education early and earn a grant for tuition at UST.

Students Eduardo Mulanovich, Dena Yanowski, Pete Karagozian, Simberly Rodriguez and Elena Petre engage in academics, student organizations and a new social life to become leaders on campus.


Gardens, Business Inspire Swiss Transfer Student

Annamarie Dober, a St. Thomas transfer student from Switzerland, wants to focus on green marketing to combine her love for gardens and passion for marketing.

She said marketing is an effective avenue to encourage others to go green in the United States. Dober is working toward a combined five-year BBA/MBA with a concentration in marketing.


UST Names VP for Institutional Advancement

University of St. Thomas President Dr. Robert Ivany announced the appointment of alumna Cynthia Colbert Riley, MLA ’95, as the University’s new vice president for institutional advancement, effective July 16. Riley will lead the University’s fundraising efforts focusing on the “Faith in Our Future” Capital Campaign.


Cameron School of Business Prepares Leaders

The Cameron School of Business at the University of St. Thomas teaches students the professional skills necessary for a changing global economy and instills a deep appreciation for ethical behavior. View the video to see Dr. John Story, associate professor of marketing, tell how CSB enriches students by incorporating liberal arts and the Basilian values of goodness, discipline and knowledge.

UST Alumna Lands Coveted Baker Hughes Position

Otariya Folorunso, a native of Nigeria, was awarded an internship with Baker Hughes that led to a full-time job as a process engineer. Folorunso attended St. Thomas Cameron School of Business and graduated with an MBA in international business in 2011.
