The Celt ID is the official University identification card for students, faculty, and staff. Celt IDs are used to access campus facilities, services, and resources.
All requests for a new Celt ID must be submitted through the Celt ID Request Form.

Use the Celt ID Request Form if you are:
- A new student, faculty member, or staff member who needs an initial Celt ID;
- An individual who needs a replacement ID due to loss, damage, or name change;
- Directed by a university office to submit an ID request

What is the process to request a Celt ID?
The Celt ID request process begins with an online form.
Step 1: Complete the Celt ID Request Form Submit the online form linked below. You will be asked to provide identifying information and upload a photo that meets ID photo requirements.
Step 2: Verification and Processing Your request will be reviewed for eligibility and completeness. Incomplete submissions may delay processing.
Step 3: Notification You will receive an email notification once your Celt ID is ready for pickup.
Step 4: Pick Up Your Celt ID Bring a valid government-issued photo ID when picking up your Celt ID. Pickup location and hours will be included in your notification email

How do I make sure my photo meets the requirements?
To ensure your Celt ID can be processed without delay, uploaded photos must:
- Clearly show your full face;
- Be taken against a plain background;
- Be well-lit and in focus;
- Not include hats, sunglasses, or filters.

What is the processing time to receive my new Celt ID?
Please allow 2-3 business days for processing after submitting the form. Processing times may vary during peak periods.
What happens if I lose my Celt ID or it is stolen?
The cardholder is responsible for immediately reporting the ID card lost or stolen when it is no longer in their possession. Reports must be made to the Office of Student Affairs in person or email at celtid@stthom.edu. The card will be deactivated and no longer active for use. Once a card has been deactivated, it cannot be reactivated should it be found at a later date. A $10 fee will be assessed for replacement ID cards.
