UST-ICUSTA​The University of St. Thomas is proud to celebrate ICUSTA’s  25th Anniversary as we host the 2019 ICUSTA Biennial Conference May 22-24. During each of the three (3) panels on May 23, we’ll address issues related to:

  • Scholarly and student exchange
  • Building stronger institutional links and networks
  • Considering future innovations during each of the three May 23rd panels

As we do this, we’re called to ponder (meditate) on how our activities reflect and advocate for the values of Thomism. We’ll ask for your active participation, sharing your experiences as a university with us throughout the conference.

We look forward to receiving you in our city of many names, “Space City,” “H-Town,” and the “Energy Capital of the World.”  The 2019 conference marks a wonderful opportunity to deepen our identity as Catholic universities founded in the spirit of St. Thomas Aquinas and strengthen cooperation among all member universities.

The University of St. Thomas is located in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston, a mecca of art, culture, restaurants and nightlife. We’re also just steps away from Houston’s Museum District, home to almost 20 museums, over half of which are free of charge. You can also catch a Houston Astros baseball game. The Astros play the Chicago White Sox on May 22 and 23, and the Boston Red Sox on May 24. All games are played at Minute Maid Park in downtown Houston starting at 7:10 p.m.
