University of St. Thomas is proud to offer the Summer Reading and Writing Skills Program as a community service to families at 6 locations throughout Texas. Since 1997, this program has helped students in our community build strong reading skills and develop a deep love of books and reading. The program is designed and taught by the Institute of Reading Development, a nationwide leader in reading skills instruction.

For program locations and schedules in your area, select a program level below. The summer reading programs are available in Houston, Kingwood, Missouri City, Richmond, Spring and other locations throughout the area.

• Entering 1^st Graders
• Entering 2^nd Graders
• Entering 3^rd Graders
• Entering 4^th Graders
• Entering 5^th Graders
• Entering 6^th-8^th Graders
• Entering 9^th-11^th Graders
• Entering 12^th Graders, College Students and Adults

• Monday through Friday: 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. 
• Saturday: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Sunday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
