We offer multiple opportunities for students to engage with business professionals, on- and off-campus, through conversations, business tours and events. These experiences enhance our degree programs by bringing to life what students learn in the classroom and giving them chances to build their professional network before they graduate.

Cameron Business Symposium

Cameron Business SymposiumThis annual event connects guests with Houston business leaders for an exciting day of community and conversation about trending business topics. The day begins and ends with keynote speakers, with track sessions in between.

Career Day

Career Day​This annual event focuses on career development for our students. The day offers panel discussions and industry overviews. Guest speakers are CSB and UST alumni with multiple years of industry experience. This event not only showcases the advantages of a degree from UST, but also inspires and guides current students.

Celt Coffee Hour @ CSB

Celt Breakfast Club @ CSB​The Celt Coffee Hour @ CSB series provides CSB students with a forum to engage in conversation with industry professionals on business topics. Small groups of students interact with successful professionals and learn from their experiences.

Celts Exploring Businesses @ CSB

Celts Exploring Businesses @ CSBStudents visit local businesses to get a first-hand look at operations and interact with company representatives. The tours help students make connections between coursework and real-world business practices. Previous tours include:

  • Baker Hughes Center for Technology Innovation
  • Houston Methodist Research Institute
  • Saint Arnold's Brewing Company
  • Shell Trading Floor

Celt Consulting Projects @ CSB

Partners from industry, government and not-for-profit organizations benefit from the insight, creativity, and energy of our business students by identifying management issues for our students to solve as they work together as a team. Students gain invaluable experience working as consultants on challenging management issues and applying their knowledge to real-world business applications. Topics for consulting projects range from broad, strategic issues to more specialized business matters.
