Prior to move-in day, you must:

Each resident is allowed 15 minutes in the unloading zone around Guinan Hall. If you’re not going to be living in Guinan Hall, you’ll be able to unload via street side parking at your building. A limited number of moving carts will be available at the front desk, or you can bring your own dolly.
Please have your University of St. Thomas ID card with you when you check in.

At the end of the Fall semester:
If you're returning to the same room in the Spring, then you don't need to completely move out of your room. Just take home all medications, valuables or items needed during the break. You won't be able to return to the residence hall once you've checked out.
When you move out of your room completely:
This is the stuff you need to do.
Express checkout (you waive the right to dispute all charges):
1. Secure an Express Checkout from your Resident Assistant, the Office of Residence Life, or the Guinan Hall front desk
2. Return a signed Express Checkout form to the black return box at the front desk (there's no check-out time needed)
3. You waive the right to dispute all charges
Traditional checkout:
1. Make an appointment to check out with your R.A. at least 24 hours in advance of your departure. All checkouts must take place before the buildings officially close for the semester.
2. Walk through the room/apartment with your R.A. and sign the Room Condition Form for your room. Write in the date and time you checked out (your RA will bring this with him or her when he or she checks you out).
If you're late for your appointment or try to re-schedule at the last minute, you'll need to do an Express checkout.
